Our Practice
Thank you for visiting Southern Indiana Clinical Trials, LLC (SOINCT). We are excited to continue our successful partnerships with leading pharmaceutical companies and our valued patients at our new location, serving patients primarily in the downtown and west Louisville area, Brandenburg, Kentucky, and the following southern Indiana areas: New Albany, Floyds Knobs, Georgetown, Lanesville, and Corydon.
Southern Indiana Clinical Trials provides quality healthcare through participation, as a clinical trial site, in phase 2, 3, & 4 clinical trials. Our site serves both pediatric and adult populations in the Louisville metro and southern Indiana area and has an extensive database of participants as the Principal Investigator, along with SOINCT staff, have been working in clinical trials in the area for decades. Participants are also referred from the Principal Investigator’s private practice.
Our staff includes Board-Certified Dermatologists, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, and CCRC’s with combined experience of 35+ years in clinical trials, treating diseases such as acne, actinic keratoses, atopic dermatitis, alopecia, contact dermatitis, hand dermatitis, hidradenitis suppurativa, ichthyosis, onychomycosis, prurigo nodularis, psoriasis, rosacea, and many more dermatological conditions.

Our Team
Meet the SOINCT Staff
Misty Humphress
RN, BSN, CCRC
Misty graduated from nursing school in 1998 and went on to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Indiana University in 2001.
She began her career in clinical trials, specializing in Dermatology, in 2001 as a study coordinator. Misty obtained her CCRC research certification in 2012 and has 20+ years’ experience in the clinical trial industry as a site study coordinator, quality control specialist, regulatory specialist, and site manager. She also maintains her CITI & IATA certifications. She began working with Dr. Megan Landis in 2012 as well.
Misty is an active member of the community and enjoys traveling with her husband of 25+ years.
Megan N. Landis
MD, Board Certified Dermatologist
Dr. Landis is a Mayo Clinic trained Board Certified Dermatologist.
She obtained her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in 2008 and completed her Dermatology residency at Mayo Clinic in 2012. Dr. Landis is the founder of the Skinternal Medicine Conference, is an assistant clinical professor at the University of Louisville and has a thriving dermatology practice treating a diverse patient population.
She began her clinical trial career as a resident in 2007, became an Investigator in 2012, and has been the Principal Investigator over approximately 100 clinical trials. Dr. Landis has published many articles, abstracts, and book chapters as well.
Dr. Landis volunteers serving our veterans at the Louisville Veterans Affairs Hospital monthly and does skin cancer screenings at various organizations in the community. She enjoys spending time with her husband and four children.
Julie Grannan
RN, MSN, FNP-C
Julie obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Indiana University in 1999.
She went on to earn her FNP-C and Master of Science in Nursing degree from Indiana University in 2004. She began training with Dr. Lands in 2009 and became a sub-Investigator and study coordinator at Southern Indiana Clinical Trials in 2022.
Julie is also a provider at a thriving healthcare practice, treating a diverse group of patients in the southern Indiana area.
Julie is an active member of the community and enjoys spending time with her husband and children.
